PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 4, 2026
PlantSonics is operated by JEvolve LLC. We respect your privacy and we don’t want to do anything weird with your information. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, and what your rights are.
If you have any questions, email us at info@plantsonics.com.
What We Collect
We collect only what we need to run our business. There are two situations where we collect information from you:
When you place an order: your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, phone number, and payment details. Payment details are entered directly into our payment processor (Stripe) and are not stored on our website.
When you sign up for our email list, contact us, or browse the site: your email address (if you sign up or write to us), and basic technical information your browser shares automatically (IP address, device type, pages viewed, time on site). This is collected through standard analytics tools.
How We Use It
We use your information to:
- Process and ship your orders.
- Communicate with you about your order, including shipping confirmations and customer support.
- Send marketing emails, but only if you’ve signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- Improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
- Comply with our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.
We do not sell your information to anyone. We don’t rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Who We Share It With
We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business. Specifically:
- Stripe (payment processing) — stripe.com/privacy
- Klarna (installment payment option) — klarna.com/us/legal/privacy
- PayPal (alternate payment option) — paypal.com/us/legalhub/privacy-full
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS) to deliver your order.
- AWeber (email marketing platform) — if you’ve signed up for our email list.
- Google Analytics — for website traffic analytics.
- Our payment, hosting, and email providers as needed for the service to function.
We may also disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order, etc.) or when necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site and to keep your shopping cart working between pages. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioral advertising.
How We Protect Your Information
We use commercially reasonable security practices, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS) on our website and trusted payment processors that handle your card information directly. No website can guarantee absolute security, but we take this seriously.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your order and customer information for as long as we need it to run the business and comply with tax and accounting law (typically 7 years for transaction records). We keep email subscriber information until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights (United States)
You have the right to ask us:
- What personal information we have about you.
- To correct any inaccurate information.
- To delete your information (subject to our legal obligations to keep transaction records).
- To unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To make a request, email info@plantsonics.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If you’re a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific rights including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. You can exercise these rights by emailing us at info@plantsonics.com. We do not sell personal information.
Your Rights (Canada)
If you’re a Canadian resident, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you similar rights to access, correct, and challenge how we handle your personal information. By placing an order or signing up for our email list, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described in this policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us — though if you withdraw consent for information, we need to fulfill an active order, we may not be able to complete the transaction.
Our designated privacy contact is John Evankoof JEvolve LLC. You can reach him at info@plantsonics.com. If you have a privacy concern we haven’t resolved to your satisfaction, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Children
Our website and products are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we’ll delete it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There’s no industry standard for how websites should respond to this signal, and we currently do not respond to it. We do not engage in cross-site behavioral tracking regardless.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we’ll post a notice on the website or send you an email. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
